Anticipation

But this I do

I look to the future, forgetting what has captured me in the past.

I press toward the mark of the high calling of Christ,

To love like He does!

My hope is in Him alone.

I do not know what I will be but

I know when I see Him I will be like Him.

That is His promise.

That is His creative purpose.

He will deliver me without fault!

Not of my power, but of His.

And what is required of me?

To look to Him.
