A
Thought Coming From Hosea
An
unqualified student
But
a wonderful thought.
Hosea
married Gomer, a prostitute, at God’s direction.
God
told him to do what?
What
will people think?
God
has a plan.
I
do not understand.
They
had a daughter.
Her
name was Lo Ruhamah.
“Not
My Loved One”
Then
a son was born.
His
name was Lo Ammi
“Not
My People”
How
sad the thought
The
children were not loved?
The
children were not His people?
He
had every right to reject them.
But
The
very ones who are called “Not My People”
Will
be “My People”
To
the very ones who are called “Not My Loved One”
He
will call them “My Loved One.”
“I
will plant her for myself in the land;
I
will show my love to the one I called ‘Not my loved one. ’
I
will say to those called ‘Not my people, ’
‘You
are my people’;
and
they will say,
‘You
are my God. ’”
By
His grace - by the Work of Christ - By the eternal plan of God
We
who turn to Him -
We
are Ruhamah, “Loved by Him!”
And
Ammi,
“His Children”
I
take joy in knowing that I am Ammi Ruhamah!
